My Affiliate Program – Terms & Conditions

Agreement. Enrolling in the Urban Outings Affiliate Program constitutes a binding agreement between Urban Outings LLC (“UO”) and an approved website that participates in this Program (an “Affiliate”) as described below:

Cost per Acquisition. UO will pay a five-and-a-half percent (5.5%) commission on a “Cost per Acquisition” (“CPA”) basis for Member Acquisitions,” in accordance with the delivery terms set forth herein. A “Member Acquisition” is defined as a user who (i) links from an Urban Outings advertisement or link to the Urban Outings web site, which link bears Affiliate ID information in accordance with our Tracking Technology and is displayed on an Affiliate’s website; and (ii) makes a purchase of an Urban Outings membership. A Member Acquisition does not include: (i) a membership sale that is made with a credit card that is declined, a check that bounces, counterfeit cash, or any other form of fraudulent payment or for which payment is unable to be collected; or (ii) a membership that is cancelled for any reason within 10 business days after the date of purchase. Payments to Affiliates will be made on a monthly basis. UO will issue a check for the aggregate amount owed to an Affiliate as the result of qualified Member Acquisitions during the thirty (30) day periods following the end of each calendar month during the Term for New York City Members and one hundred.

Campaign Expenses. Affiliates shall be solely responsible for all costs incurred in connection with Affiliate’s Campaigns and this Agreement, including, without limitation, expenses associated with hosting and publishing UO’s content and Advertisements.

Member Acquisition Tracking/Technology. UO will track Member Acquisition and the click through rate from Affiliate-published campaigns through the use of UO’s Tracking Technology, which is supplied by My Affiliate Program (“MyAP”). Click through rate is defined as the number of times users click on an Advertisement divided by the total number of times that Advertisement was viewed.

My Affiliate Program. MyAP Software uses a "cookie" based tracking system. A cookie is a small text file that is saved in a visitor's browser files. In the case of Affiliate Tracking - a cookie holds the referring Affiliate's ID number. When visitors click on your banner at your Affiliate's site, a cookie containing the Affiliate's ID number will be placed on the visitor's browser. An Affiliate my view its activities and commissions paid and owed through the login information provided to the Affiliate by UO.
