Treat yourself to a week of fun, adventure, and health on Ilha Grande, a Brazilian island paradise of white sand beaches, emerald waters and scenic mountain vistas! An intimate group of travelers will be heading to a remote tropical island for an invigorating hiking, kayaking, and yoga escape, where a soothing massage caps off each day of activities. You'll be soaking up the warm Brazilian sun while enjoying a physically active and de-stressing vacation in a majestic, exotic setting. Rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit.









We will be staying in a secluded lodge that rests on a jungle hillside, and sits atop crystal clear waters. The island boasts over 100 beaches, 50 waterfalls, and is covered by 97% virgin tropical rainforest. You'll enjoy rainforest hiking, sea kayaking, two yoga classes per day, nightly full body massages, snorkeling, painting, samba dancing, capoeira, and a natural detox menu. Friendly, professional Brazilian-based program staff will host our stay and scheduled events.

Not included: Personal expenses, gratuities, transportation outside the scope of the arranged excursions or meals outside what is outlined in the program descriptions, additional entertainment, additional services, and any other incidental charges. Travel insurance is not included. Visa for entry into Brazil not included ($100-$140 expense).

    Payments & Registration Deadline:

    Spaces are available on a first come, first served basis. A non-refundable deposit of $995 is due upon signing up for the trip in order to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due by October 8, 2004. Full trip payment must be received by October 8, 2004.

    Download the Trip Enrollment Form, fill it out, and fax it to (212) 584-9385 or mail it to Urban Outings, Attn: Trips, 1133 Broadway #1416, New York, NY 10010. Your space in the trip is not secure until your Trip Enrollment Form AND deposit payment have been received. Then you must obtain your visa from the Brazilian consulate. Urban Outings will provide you with the specific information on how to obtain your visa. You must apply for your visa by October 12, 2004.
