Boasting beautiful beaches, hot Latin culture, and plenty of eye candy, Rio is the
place to be this November! Soak up the warm Brazilian sun on the world famous beaches
of Copacabana. Forget about the 'Girl from Ipanema' check out the boys (HOT, HOT boys!)
from Ipanema, who tantalizingly prove that Ipanema lives up to its Indian meaning
as the place of 'dangerous, bad waters,' where the waves can get excitingly feisty!
Visit the hot gay beach in front of Rua Farme de Amoedo, also called Land of Marlboro,
where hot Brazilian men bronze and frolic!
Just 15 minutes from the city, leave the concrete jungle behind and head for the rainforest
- Parque Nacional da Tijuca will amaze you with it calming waterfalls, lush greenery,
exotic trees, indigenous birds, monkeys, and mountainous peaks. Late in the day, take
a cable-car ride 1300ft above Rio and the Baa de Guanabara to enjoy the sunset. From
here, Rio is the most dazzling city in the world.
For a taste of Brazilian culture, art and history, you won't want to miss the Museu
Nacional de Belas Artes fine arts museum, the Galeria de Arte Brasileira, and the
Museu Nacional.
Rio is hot by day, but it gets even hotter at night! American cities like New York
City may boast a lively gay nightlife, but Rio steals the crown! Bring your dancing
shoes, taste for exotic cocktails, lively men, and few reais (because the nightlife
is cheaper than in the US). Make sure you siesta a bit during the day to be able to
keep up with Rio's nightlife; Galeria Cafe, Spin, Dama de Ferro, and Bofetada will
be venues to explore during your six nights in Rio. Either tear up the dance floor
or be voyeuristic as you sip on a caipirinhas (a zinging blend of limes, sugar, and
vodka) or a cerveja (beer). And since there are few restrictions on partying it up-expect
a long night until the sun comes up!
